Nice place to walk, but not many choices on the walks. There are also plenty of waterfalls. Would recommend the Walk With The Birds, and also the Sky Walk near the entrance.
Had a nice walk through the forest to the waterfall. Walking track under the waterfall is closed due to safety reason. Took us an hour return but would take less for a seasoned walker. Did not walked the loop which would take about 2-2.5 hrs. Got this info from another family- if you would like to walk less distance to the waterfall, drive past the main car park to another picnic area and there's another walking path down the falls.
A fantastic day in the park. 35 degrees on the coast and a comfortable 28 at Dorrigo so worth doing when it is too hot for the beach. We checked out the Skywalk and then walked down to Crystal Falls. Track is well maintained with no stairs, but it is steep coming back up. Also explored the Never Never picnic area for next time.
Liked if 5 years ago and still do. It's amazing how many birds you are able to see close up, when you're quite. Sadly most of the people aren't.
A beautiful place to visit. Easy walk even with kids or do the more challenging walk. $2 donation for entry is more than fair for upkeep of this lovely peaceful environment. The gift shop had heaps of great items to buy. The staff are excellent and gave great information. Drive just down the road to the Falls lookout and you can simply park and see the spectacular waterfall and swimming hole.
